As part of our nonprofit mission, ELLAS Animals INC cares for foster kittens who need extra time or care before becoming available for adoption to their forever homes.
Partnership with CCAS
We have partnered with Citrus County Animal Services (CCAS) in Inverness, Florida, who provide the resources to care for the kittens and accept applications for adoption when they are ready. Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis, but applicants who come through our nonprofit (having seen the kittens on our website or our social media and contacted us before submitting their application through CCAS) receive priority consideration. The standard adoption fee through CCAS will apply and is $35 for kittens. However, they often have specials and promotions on their social media.
All kittens adopted through CCAS are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heart-worm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV).
Our current litter of foster kittens:
Our current litter are the Social Media Darlings: Rizz (black and white boy), Big Yikes (solid black boy), and Delulu (solid black girl). They were born around July 24, 2024 and joined us when they were about 2 weeks old on August 7, 2024. They were found without a mother cat so they are being bottle fed until they can be transitioned to solid food and a litter box.
