A final assessment test is included in every course free of charge for all of the dogs working through our program with our volunteer trainers. Our tests are consistent with standards put forth by organizations like AKC, IAADP, and ADI. These service dog tests are also available for purchase by trainers (including owner/trainers) outside of our program who merely want external verification of their dog’s skills. We offer remote tests at the following levels for the following fees:
Foundational Obedience – $50
Public Access – $200
Tasks & Work -$100
All of our service dog tests are remote. Trainers send in videos of their dog performing the required skills in the required locations and these are evaluated by the certified dog trainer. If some skills are met and some aren’t, the trainers have additional opportunities to send in videos of their dog in order to meet the requirements. Once the requirements are all met, the dog receives a certificate for meeting the standards of the test at the appropriate level and this achievement is kept on file by ELLAS Animals INC.
